Los Angeles, CA — NovaEdge Technologies is pleased to announce its partnership with Contour Entertainment and Art & Automation to create a custom-built, touch screen kiosk system for Star Trek The Tour. The system allows guests to purchase personalized photos and videos created while at the exhibit.

When the much anticipated Star Trek tour opens its 40-city tour at Long Beach’s Queen Mary Dome, visitors to the interactive exhibit will be able to explore the Star Trek universel ike never before. The show offers a host of full-motion, show-based simulators and other multimedia attractions, all created from the world’s largest collection of authentic Star Trek ships, sets, costumes and props from all 5 TV series and 10 films over the last 40+ years.

Among the unique attractions at the event, guests can enjoy the opportunity to explore a full-size Enterprise bridge from the original TV series and have their photo integrated with an image of the original cast – including Spock, McCoy and Scotty. The images look as if guests are standing right next to the Enterprise crew. Guests may also “star” alongside the original cast in an episode of their choice.

Guests have the opportunity to take home a DVD or still image of their cameos to share with family and friends. NovaEdge, in conjunction with Art & Automation and Contour Entertainment, provides the touch-screen kiosk systems that will allow exhibit goers to view, select and purchase these souvenirs.
